Ms. Dynamite has a new single out, an accompanying video and the single is now available for download. Just in case but if you’re reading this you’re probably well aware; Ms. Dynamite had some success back in 2002/2003 on this side of the atlantic with her debut album “A Little Deeper”. We haven’t heard or seen much from her here in the states but she definitely hasn’t been quiet as of late. The single “Neva Soft” is a definite banger and might change her absence on American soil. So I’m not going to type anymore, Watch the video and if you get the urge to put two fingers in the air and yell out “Somebody say PULL UP!!” Don’t worry, it’s only natural.

This is an up and coming MC that Creative Beach has been following for a couple of months now. Amplify Dot or “A.Dot” is continuing to prove when it comes to rhymes…don’t underestimate the ladies. There is currently a build up of women stepping in front of the mic and taking over in UK hip hop scene right now and you know what!? Music is music and Creative Beach supports good music. Amplify Dot released her mixtape Born Ready earlier this week on July 4th..yep same day as the Emerge EP! For us in the states it was our independence day oddly enough, a celebration of our break away from England but two hundred and thirty-five years later what does it matter. It’s finally here! This is a journey that started well over a year ago and went through many changes but it is here. The Emerge Ep is a compilation of music from some of the first artists that Creative Beach came in contact with. All of the artists are up and coming artists just as Creative Beach is an up and coming site. The EP has something for everybody with hip hop, R&B and House music represented. Many thanks to everyone involved it was a complete team effort and represents a global team of players from Atlanta, London, Maryland and Guadeloupe/New York. Let’s keep the documentaries going, Amplify Dot is an up and coming UK MC that we featured just a short while ago. When a new artists steps onto the scene people are always curious to find out about them, what they stand for, how long have they been rhyming etc. Most of the time fans and even media outlets find out information through a collection of interviews, press releases or whatever information is put out. Amplify Dot took it a step further and has released a 4 part documentary which features interviews and follows her as she goes about her day. So far parts 1 and 2 have been released so of course we have them both. As soon as parts 3 and 4 are released you’ll see them right here on creativebeach.

Black Star, De La Soul and Rakim took the stage early last week over in London for their first performance of two shows in England(the second, Manchester) and The Hip Hop Chronicle was in attendance and managed to get some video of the show.
One thing…did this show stop in D.C./Bmore? I want to make sure because I sure didn’t see it. Either way it needs to swing pass the DMV.
