It has been a while but Jazz Sunday is back! It didn’t go anywhere but today here is an OFFICIAL Jazz Sunday post. Jazz Sunday has been very sparse in 2012 but there has been a lot going on behind the scenes here at Creative Beach, oh! It’s all good, it just takes up time but yes this Jazz Sunday is well worth the wait! There is something old but hopefully new to you and there is something brand new, new to us all! Today Creative Beach is going to smooth it out and then get you up and dance. Creative Beach is staying in Europe for this post and first up is CB MC of the moment Gracias. Gracias has definitely moved me and I know his music will make it to a sizable crowd here in the states but music is global and the world is at our fingertips(thank you Youtube). Let’s smooth it out to a live performance Gracias did last summer at the Bassline festival. This vid has been on the CB social network scene but here it is for the masses.
Alright, are you all ready to get your two step on!? Here is a brand new Joy Denalane vid from the English version of her album “Maureen”. If you have been following Creative Beach, Joy Denalane has been a regular feature on Jazz Sunday and this just a continuation. A live band and feel good music, this is the flip side of Jazz Sunday, it’s all about putting a smile on your face.

Joy Denalane has been in constant motion since the German release of “Maureen” last Spring and Creative Beach has been bringing you updates on that album but the English language version is out today and it is on itunes US. Check below for more info on the album.

Yep! Jazz Sunday is back for another Sunday of good music and making your Sunday just a little bit smoother. Here is a gem of a performance by one of Creative Beach’s favorite artists Joy Denalane. Joy Denalane performed at the Breminale cultural/music festival last month in Bremen, Germany. The video clip is a great introduction to Joy if you’re new to her music and a wonderful highlight of her entire catalog as Joy goes through tracks from her new album Maureen, her previous work Born and Raised as well as her first album Mamani. Happy Jazz Sunday!! Well we completely missed this one but hey…it’s here now. Our favorite songstress Joy Denalane has moved relatively quick going from resurgence to album release to now being in full promo mode. Joy made her way to Radio Hamburg back in May and delivered her own version of an Ella Fitzgerald song… “Fine and Mellow”
Joy Denalane has not stopped when it comes to providing us with new music and a very good insight into what is gearing up to be a top notch album. This is the fourth installment of the studio sessions from Joy’s new album Maureen. Maureen is set to be released on May 31st here in the states, so sit back and enjoy.
Well let’s start off Jazz Sunday where we started last week; with Joy Denalane. Although instead of a studio session Joy provides us with a full on music video. Niemand(was wir nicht tun) “No one (which we do not)” is full of visuals shot in London, England and Naples, Italy.

Joy Denalane has been keeping the visuals steadily coming the past month or so in preparation for the release of her new album Maureen. (Check our Tumblr page for previous posts) Maureen is set to be released this May and in a departure from her last album Maureen will be recorded in German but the music is universal and no translation is necessary for this one. Make sure you take note of the horns.
